Dear Leadership New Mexico Alumni,

We are seeking nominations for the 2024 Leadership New Mexico Land of Enchantment Leadership Awards Dinner which will be hosted on Thursday, May 29^th, 2025, at Quezada’s Comedy Club.

Leadership New Mexico will recognize individuals who meet the criteria in the following categories:

Distinguished Leadership Award 

• Recognizes and promotes community involvement and provides incentives for the continued application of leadership skills. 
• Recognizes an individual who has used his or her leadership skills, knowledge, and resources to benefit New Mexico.
• Elevates awareness of the benefits dynamic leadership brings to their community and state.

Distinguished Alumnus Award 

• Recognizes a Core Alumnus who has used his or her leadership skills, knowledge, and resources to benefit New Mexico.
• Recognizes and promotes community involvement and provides incentives for the continued application of leadership skills. 
• Elevates awareness of the benefits dynamic leadership brings to their community and state.

Rising Star 

• Recognizes a Connect  Alumnus who has used his or her leadership skills, knowledge, and resources to benefit New Mexico.
• Recognizes and promotes community involvement and provides incentives for the continued application of leadership skills. 
• Elevates awareness of the benefits dynamic leadership brings to their community and state.

Excellence in Local Government 

• Recognizes a Local Government Leadership Program Alumnus who has used his or her leadership skills, knowledge, and resources to benefit New Mexico.
• Recognizes and promotes community involvement and provides incentives for the continued application of leadership skills. 
• Elevates awareness of the benefits dynamic leadership brings to their community and state.

Eligibility and Criteria

Only Leadership New Mexico Alumni may nominate someone to receive these awards. Nominees should be a New Mexico resident, other than a Leadership New Mexico graduate, who has demonstrated exceptional leadership that has resulted in a significant impact on the economy and quality of life at the local or state level in New Mexico. The recipient must have demonstrated dynamic leadership skills in multiple settings and achieved extraordinary success in the goals he or she has set out to accomplish.
